Today the Red Sox made absolute, incredible history.

They won their third straight.

Against the Yankees … forcing a Game 7.

Pepto Bismol, anyone?

Please. Let us win 20-0.

I’d take a 1-0 win in the 65th inning, though…

But I might be out of Pepto.

Classy move by A-Rod.

Oh, and nice way to play dumb.

How bout that riot gear?

Insanity.

Keith Foulke is nails.

Curt Schilling is … has a bloody ankle with stitches and sutures and according to him was pitching on fumes since the fourth.

All he did … was 4 H in 7 IP.

Good umpiring (sans Ruben Sierra in the 9th) tonight. The two key calls (correctly) went the Sox’s way and proved to be the reason the Sox won the game.

Sorry this isn’t more in depth, but …

Well, you know.

I’ll see you after Game 7 …

Tinged in depression …

or delirious in joy.

Believe.

Addition Let’s get some Mojo going.

David Ortiz should thank you for that picture. He looks at least 20 pounds slimmer. ;)

Wow! That is all I can say after watching this great comeback. It would be terrible now if sox lost in game 7. GO SOX!

This has been a fantasic series for both the National League and the American League. My remote flip button is being worn out because I want to watch both.
Terrific performance by Schilling last night (and he’s never been my favorite) but he was made to play in a pressure situation like last night’s game. I certainly hope the Sox can finish it and take it tonight.
You’re right about the “surprised” look on A-Rod’s face. Come on. He knew exactly what he’d done.

How can you watch the National League at a time like this?!?! That’s what SportsCenter is for!
Unbelievable, Evan. Unbelievable. Every pitch we get by their hitters feels like a hundred pounds coming off my chest. 1-0 in 65 would KILL me.
I’m praying for 20-0. We’re due. That would be fantastic.

I just can’t wait to see this game, it’s been the slowest afternoon ever. Also, I agree that 1-0 in
65 would be painful, but I’d take it. It won’t be Pepto I’m chugging though! Keep the faith!

This has been the slowest afternoon in history. I couldn’t even sleep as long as I normally do. I’m having a Red Sox party over here today, that way IF the Sox lose, I have solace.
God, I just hope it’s 20-0. I’m not sure I’m up for another 4-3 extra inning game.
Oh wait, it’s Game 7, baby! I’m up for anything!

I have not been able to do anything all day. All I do is twitch every now and then with the words “Game Seven” coming out of my mouth.
Joe, does this mean you prefer the Sox over the Orioles? And as an extension, who would you root for if it came down to Sox-Dodgers?

9-3 in the 8th. I’m a Braves fan first (and the writer for the Braves site at MVN), but that only means that I absolutely hate the Yankees! And since I’ve spent significant time in Boston, they’re my #2 team anyway. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last four days of baseball! :)

Can’t be a Sox fan above the O’s, but if it came down to a Dodgers-Sox series, that’d be hard. I fell in love with the Dodgers because of Kirk Gibson. This series has been more impactful to me, though. Probably the Sox.
