Introducing the Fireside Chats Red Sox Podcast

[display_podcast]

Boston Red Sox podcast for MVN Radio Episode 1 where we introduce ourselves, preview the season, and talk Jays with Matt Soteroff.

Episode #1

Hosts: Paul Testa, Tim Daloisio

Guest: Matt Soteroff (MVN; Jays Nest)

I am extremely happy and proud to present episode #1 of Fireside Chats, the Official MVN Red Sox podcast, here on Fire Brand of the American League. It has been a pleasure to write for you all over the past month and I am excited to bring a new media format to Fire Brand.

First off, I would like to introduce my co-host (college roommate, best man at my wedding) Paul Testa to the community. Paul is one of the most passionate and knowledgeble Red Sox fans I have come across and I am thrilled to have him as the Callahan to my Dennis (we are still looking for our very own Meter).

Although today's episode will take the place of my usual Friday column, moving forward I'll still be writing original content on Tuesdays and Fridays as well as contributing the weekly podcast. We are looking at firming up the right day to record and publish the show but it will likely move to the beginning of the week as the season progresses.

Thanks to Brandon Rosage and Cory Humes here at MVN to get us set up and making this a real possibility for us and to Matt Soteroff for his Jays' preview.

And thanks in advance to you all, our active listening audience!

Here's what I would love from you all:

- Become a Fireside Chats fan on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fireside-Chats-at-MVN/10323346316

- Listen, subscribe to us on iTunes, review the show, tell your friends, spread the word: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=277950258 (this will launch iTunes)

- Be active in the comments reacting to the show and leaving suggestions for future content/guests.

- Once we get our voicemail box set up please leave us messages to play on the air (more to come on that).

Thanks for listening!

Here is the link that will launch iTunes and point to the show. I am still getting the show "seeded" into directories and such. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Thanks for listening!
