GAME NOTES: It’s on! Red Sox! Yankees! Hoopla aside, both teams expected to contend for the playoffs both rest at .500 and have struggling offenses. Wang is off to a fantastic start this year. Can the No-Hit Kid shut him down?

    And suddenly Wang’s getting killed. Different park and it would be 4-1 with no one out. Frustrating to see all those warning track shots but at least one went out.

    I haven’t understood why Timlin was on the team for two years now. Good boy, you take the kids bow hunting, root for Bush and pray frequently. Learn to throw a goddamn strike that doesn’t leave the park and I’ll start to show you a whole lot more respect.

    Awesome, Wang tosses a perfect game against us (thanks for the homer, Bobby). I’ve never had any designs on this season, but it’d be nice to at least look respectable, y’know?

    I don’t know whether that statement should make me encouraged about Drew or utterly depressed about our team
