The question is, which Sox team will face which Tiger team? I thought, with Papi healing, today’s outfield and lineup was pretty special.
Is there any outfield with the speed, defense and offense of Ellsbury, Crisp and Drew?
Ellsbury, Pedroia, Youk as 1,2,3 is the perfect table setting combination for Manny, Mikey, J.D., Tek.
Makes me wonder if their .300BA, high OBP and SB rate might work even when Papi comes back, as Papi and Manny might actually get more at bats over a three game series, driving in more runs.
Hitting Crisp, Lugo, Ellsbury, Pedroia together created excitement, and RUNS, on the basepaths, 3 -times today. Also wiith Crisp a doubles hitter, and with 2nd base very close after a single or walk, this eliminated the inevitable double play ball by Lugo.
Whatever team we field, its a good one.
