    Shawn-
You’re joking about the goat of the game, right? Some weird, perverse joke?

I’m enraged with your choice of goat of the game! How can a fluke check swing, error, sac bunt and broken bat single make him a goat?

Usually you’re dead on with the goat, but this time it’s Lugo with the hesistant throw and then the error. Paps could’ve still saved some face had it not been for Lugo.

Papelbon gave up ZERO earned runs and he’s the goat? No, no, no. The real goat was behind him to his right.

Last nite Papi and Manny were the heroes at bat, and Wake & Timlin on the mound.
Tonight, a whole new set of heroes shows how deep this team really is: Youk, Mikey, Pedro II, Jacoby, J.D. at bat with 8 runs, and Aardsma & Lopez on the mound shutting the Tigers down.
I agree with Remy and Eck that Clay favored that left ankle after his fall, and hope he fesses up if he has a problem. I am concerned that in his last few outings, Paps is not getting the K’s. What would have happened if he struck out a couple of those batters tonight? We would have won, and Julio might not be the goat, helpless when all 3 hitters gave him the ball. Like Paps said tonight, this was just one of those games, and the Tigers are for real. Time to move on to another marathon matchup tomorrow. I wonder if the Sox get as exhausted playing as we do watching.

I really hope you’re joking about pap being the goat. You are joking, right?

I am not sure I agree with you there Evan…Paps was a victim of the situation…if he gets Joyce….my bet is on a 1-2-3 inning….fluke check swing, error, sacrifice, ground out, broken bat

I am glad to see that Timlin got some props here. And I think I might have to agree with Evan that he was somewhat off last night (paps).
Lugo is a mess though and this furthers all of our arguments about how badly he really does suck right now.
