Four potential explanations for Julio Lugo's defensive struggles
Hi. I'm not new to the Red Sox or to MVN (I'm the cat responsible for Roar of the Tigers), but I AM new to Firebrand. I know you're all thinking, Hey, why does Firebrand need anyone new? Haven't they got it all goin' on already? The answer of course is yes, but Evan seems to think that Firebrand is sorely lacking in one area: Terrible Cartoons.
Luckily (or not, depending on your viewpoint), Terrible Cartoons are just my thing! You shall be getting them on Sundays from now on, unless I feel like putting them up at some other time. Salivate in gleeful anticipation or prepare your ignoring skills as you see fit.
Without further ado, as the title up top says, these are Four potential explanations for Julio Lugo's defensive struggles.

Potential Reason #1: Intense, crippling fear of baseballs.

Potential Reason #2: Brain simply hooked up wrong.

Potential Reason #3: Concentration issues possibly arising from insufficient ice cream consumption.

Potential Reason #4: Someone's been taking defense lessons from Manny.
Hard-hitting analysis, as you can see, is clearly my specialty. I feel certain I will be able to continue to contribute to the wealth of intelligent baseball discussion here at Firebrand.
Or next time I post you'll get a series of drawings of Manny Ramirez speaking in LOLcat. THIS MAY BE THE START OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP.

Just yesterday, i was saying to myself: you know, Fire Brand could really use some terrible cartoons. And here they are. Eerie.
Nice work.

Thanks for figuring that out, Samara. Remy agreed today that most of his errors are committed trying to throw the ball. Maybe another 'toon is needed? Great job.

Thanks guys! Fully Manny, you are correct, I did not injure Wang, but that's not saying I wouldn't have if I could have found a way to get away with it scot free. And Sam, I don't think I've heard my blog-writin' get called stylish before. Is 'crazy' a style?
gerry, maybe I'll just do one giant hyperrealistic drawing of a baseball melting through Julio Lugo's fingers while he stares at it in frozen fascinated horror.

I think you should do this for every team in the AL.

My favorite part of this cartoon is imagining Manny Ramirez telling Lugo that he looks like a pirate with his glove on his head.

Is Garnett or Brady the biggest choker in Boston? They're both overpaid losers who don't deserve to play in this area. What a pathetic joke of a performance.
Maybe we can get somebody, anybody else in there for game 6. Anyone but the choker.

Ummm, Manny, I said nice work. The thing about terrible cartoons was her words, not mine, and I used them entirely tongue in cheek. Grow up.

Jeeze, it was just a joke Moshe. Samara liked it. I know this must be a difficult time, but you can't take out your anger about Wang on everyone else. It's not healthy for you.
