Howard crushes Sox

Ryan Howard’s batting average so far this season has been on the low side, but after romping the Red Sox with his four RBI’s and two homers that average has spiked up a bit.
Howard hit a two-run homer in the first inning after Jimmy Rollins lead off the inning with a solo-shot and hit his second homer, solo-shot, in the third inning as the Phillies won 8-2.
The score might look gruesome but Boston actually had a chance in this one before Mike Timlin gave up four runs busting the game open when the Sox were trailing 4-2 before Timlin came in the game.
Goat of the Game: Timlin
I do not even want to discuss it.

Radiohix – the sad thing is that he is one of my favorite Sox players. I have always defended him like he was my child. But man-o-man can he get it straight already.

2-11 when I go to any MLB game. 42-18 otherwise.
I know this is almost taking superstition to the point of insanity, but should I start considering giving away my tickets?

Actually, Daniel, I had an emergency meeting just before the game started and didn’t get back until the 8th inning, so couldn’t sit in my usual seat in my usual tortured position to offset your going to the game, so the balance of the universe was just a bit out of whack. Sorry about that.
The good news is that Lester did exactly as requested and stopped the momentum cold. Probably could have gone 9 in a shutout. But it’s good Oki bounced back, and Pap . . . and the amazing Coco.
