Have you ever actually seen the Astros mascot? It's named Junction Jack and it is completely terrifying.

Yeah, it's a rabbit and sometimes it wears a conductor's uniform. Why this would be the case when the team has a whole host of built-in space-related potential mascots, I cannot say.
