BOS 12, BAL 1: Youkilis paces Sox

Kevin Youkilis drove in a career high six RBI's as the Boston Red Sox routed the Baltimore Orioles 12-1.

Tim Wakefield was stellar in a seven inning six strikeout performance.  He improves to 6-6 on the season with the decision over the Orioles.

Star of the Game: Youk

A grand slam to his credit and two more RBI's gives Youkilis the nod here.

Next Game:  Take the Series

The Sox have a chance to take the lead in the A.L. East just before the All-Star break if the Cleveland Indians can trounce the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 p.m. today.
