Anyone who clicks on these comments:
    a) Who listens to the podcast religiously?
    b) Who clicks it every now and then?
    c) Who has never listened?
To those who answered A and B: what do you like and dislike most? The length, banter, interaction, etc? What do you want to see most?
    To B, why didn’t you answer A?
To C, why? What can we do?
    Thanks, all

Agree with virtually everything you guys are saying. Pittsburgh shouldn’t have been involved and screwed us, Dodgers should’ve given up an outfielder, we should’ve gotten LaRoche instead, etc.
    I listen frequently evan.

Evan, I only listen occasionally because the bulk of my internet time is while I’m at work. I like the podcasts as they are, but I’d probably listen more often if they were shorter (e.g 30 minutes).

With all due respect, your unfamiliarity with baseball outside of Boston shows. To compare Nady with Bay and to go so far as to suggest that the former might be a superior ballplayer is outrageous. By most metrics, Bay is better–Xavier’s nice BA this year is, according to his BABIP, due a major regression. If you want fair comps, Bay and Manny, at age 37, is one for you. Considering Bay’s all-around play (defense, baserunning included), the move could very well net the Red Sox a win share or two. At the very least, it won’t hurt them as much as you two claim.

@Dan…I think I was pretty clear making the point that Bay was a significantly better player than Nady. If not, it was certainly the point that I meant to make.

To Paul, I meant no disrespect with my comments. It was just frustrating to hear Bay compared to Nady and Burrell, that’s all. He is indeed an exciting acquisition. I should also add that I do enjoy your work and that the podcast is a pleasure to listen to.

No worries Dan. I did not take your comments as disrespectful. I just wanted to state where I was coming from. After watching two games of Bay and 6 or so of Nady I can clearly see why Bay Cost more now. He is a much more athletic player.

Very good chat tim and testa – Had to make the trade and got back more then you could hope for. Manny is definitely top 3 hitter from right side still and will put up better numbers in LA then anyone in AL East the rest of the year (most likely). The best lineup imo is:
    Youk
    Drew
    Bay
    Ortiz
    Pedroia
    Lowell
    Varitek
    Lowrie
    Ellsbury
… and I wouldn’t mind switching Ortiz and Bay as I like getting Ortiz more at bats at the expense of LL
.. and testa – thanks for saying that Manny was a very good LF in Fenway – needed to be said!
