The last trivia question asked who leads all batters with home runs against the New York Yankees, and the answer was Jimmie Foxx with 70. Leaderboard is updated. The new trivia question:
Name the 3 Canadian players with more career HRs than Jason Bay. HONOR CODE: No search engines or keyword searches (Leaderboard page has guideliness for what those terms mean). WINNER GETS: To write a 200-300 word quick post article on the Manny trade and have it published at Fire Brand.
Pepsi has launched Old School, New School, where you can use codes on Mountain Dew and AMP products to redeem prizes such as cars, kicks, and gaming systems.

After much hunting and clicking on the all time HR list (yes I just wasted my lunch break doing it) I think the last one is Jeff Heath.

At the very least I learned that Canadians really like to pitch and have a cup of coffee if they don’t. Prove your homeland proud Mr. Bay.

Bay is hitting 5th today, Lowell is in the cleanup spot, I assume that Drew is 6th. Wouldn’t it make more sense to bat 2. Drew, 3. Bay, 4. Papi, 5. Lowell, 6. Youk and get a better R/L mix?

Perhaps they are trying to ease him in… But then again, Lowell did quite well from the 4th spot last year.

Cash is in today, a catcher might get a hit. Just got back from work, now I’m going to go out (I love Atlanta). Good luck Jason Bay, make us proud.
