David Orti’z three-RBI double in the seventh inning busted the game open for the Boston Red Sox and they never looked back defeating the White Sox 6-2.
Daisuke Matsuzaka notched his 13th win of the season over 8 innings, four hits, one run, three walks, and four strikeouts.
Star of the Game: Offense
The Red Sox offense continues to be red hot collecting 14 hits tonight in the win against Chicago.
Next Game: Turn it around
Hopefully Clay will be spotted with some cushion to start out his first inning tomorrow so that he will settle down and pitch effectively.
