8/16: Debut, Take Two

Prev. Gm:

Toronto Blue Jays (62-60) @ Boston Red Sox (70-51)

Roy Halladay (13-9, 2.72) @ Paul Byrd (7-10, 4.53)

7:05 PM EDT | Fenway Park (Boston, MA)

TV: NESN RADIO: WRKO 680, SBN 1150

GAME NOTES: The offense has been dynamic scoring 37 runs in the last three games, but out goes Texas and in comes Roy Halladay. Slight upgrade in opponent pitching if you ask me. The Red Sox are usually good for one inning of run scoring against Halladay, so newcomer Paul Byrd is going to have to continue his recent string of good outings (4-0, 1.24 ERA) in his debut tonight.

KC and the Yanks into the 13th. Now that they're playing the Royals it's okay for me to root against the Yankees, right? I do just like to see the Royals win though.

I'm not too keen on Paul Byrd, either.

Go Texas!

Byrd did okay, but Halladay is just a killer. Bet he's getting tired of pitching for mediocre teams.
