BOS 8, TOR 4: Homers pace Sox

Dustin Pedroia and Jason Varitek both homered in Boston’s 8-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays while Paul Byrd picked up the win over 6 innings pitched.
Byrd gave up six hits, four runs (all earned), two walks, and four strikeouts.
Star of the Game: Varitek
Can we say he is certainly turning it around now? I hope so.

    Tek, Coco, Cora, Ells, Byrd, Masterson, Oki won this game. Whose turn is it today???

    I don’t know if Tek will ever hit above .240, but I think he may be finally figuring out that he needs to cheat more on fastballs and wait for breaking balls that he can catch up to.
