Jon Lester and the rest of the Red Sox held off Roy Halladay and the Toronto Blue Jays for a 4-3 win.
Kevin Youkilis tallied the all important sacrifice fly insurance run in the eighth inning as the Jays scored two in the ninth off of Jonathan Papelbon to make it a one run game.

Does any lead feel safe w/ Paps coming in to close?
Did the Sox get a very favorable call in the 9th to help seal the win?

Every pitcher hits a bump in the road, including the elite. Paps will get past this bump.
And that call helps to mitigate the damage from many recent calls that cost us rallies and games. It’s almost even. What feels good to me is that the Red Sox are starting to get a little good luck in areas of hitting, fielding and even a couple of calls. With this team, a little good luck will go a long way.
