    3. Bobby Abreu, RF
    4. Alex Rodriguez, 3B
    5. Jason Giambi, 1B
    6. Xavier Nady, DH
    7. Robinson Cano, 2B
    8. Chad Moeller, C
    9. Brett Gardner
    SP — Alfredo Aceves
    Boston Red Sox
    1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
    2. Jed Lowrie, SS
    3. Mike Lowell, DH
    4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B

Pedey, Papi, and Varitek are all getting the night off, as Lowell returns and is the DH.

I’m coming to Boston tomorrow for my first trip to Fenway. Hopefully, the weather will allow me to see my first Redsox game in Fenway either tomorrow or Sunday. Maybe I’ll get lucky and see three if tonight gets rained out and it clears on Sunday.
Anyway, a big thanks to Evan and his Dad for helping me with this trip!

Another change: if the game is actually played, David Pauley will get the start instead of Dice-K, and Matsuzaka will instead pitch tomorrow rather than Beckett.

And now…your AL East champions…the Tampa Bay Rays.
Oh well. Give it to ‘em I say. They earned it. Hopefully we’ll get them back in October.
