Prev. Gm:

New York Yankees (88-72) @ Boston Red Sox (94-66)
Sidney Ponson (8-5, 5.21) @ Daisuke Matsuzaka (18-2, 2.80)

3:55 PM EDT | Fenway Park (Boston, MA)
TV: NESN RADIO: WRKO 680, SBN 1150

GAME NOTES: We have an AAA (Carter, Van Every, Bailey) Pawtucket outfield. Come on boys, let’s win today so the Yankees don’t get aspirations of 90 wins.

I didn’t see the lineup, but I assume Lowrie and Velasquez were also starting with Cora our . . . so that’s 5 Pawsox starters against the Yanks in September. That’s something to write home about.
