Boston splits doublheader with New York

The New York Yankees took game one 6-2, but the Boston Red Sox did not leave their fans empty handed in the night cap walking off with a 4-3 win.
Jon Van Every singled to right field driving home Alex Cora in the bottom of the 10th to give Boston some momentum into the playoff series against the Los Angeles Angels that begins on Wednesday.
Mike Mussina earned his 20th win in the Yankees victory in game 1 of the double header.
Sean Casey collected two RBI’s in the night cap for the Sox.
Next Game: Playoffs
Starting Jon Lester in game 1 of the series against the Angels is something I kind of like considering the way he has pitched this season. Maybe this will be a mini-blessing in disguise.

Lester dominated in the last post-season game of 2007, and just kept on getting better. Now, as a stronger and much-matured MLB pitcher, it is appropriate for him to dominate the first post-season game of 2008.
This gives both Jon and Daisuke two starts, and Josh a chance to win game #3, and rest-up for the next level. It all works out.

Considering that it's highly unlikely that the Red Sox could acquire both in a trade, who would you prefer to see don a Sox uniform come April?
