Shutterfly TRIVIA: Pinch-run grand slam

The last trivia question revealed that Tris Speaker, Duffy Lewis, and Hal Janvrin were the last Red Sox (in 1914) to have at least three players with 20 steals or more until this year.

The new trivia question: On September 5th, the Oakland Athletics' Rajai Davis entered a game against the Baltimore Orioles as a pinch-runner. He would later hit a grand slam in the same inning (eight total runs scored on just one hit, the grand slam). The last time that someone hit a grand slam in the same inning after being inserted as a pinch-runner was a Red Sox player. Who was it? HINT: He appeared in a previous trivia question --- not as an answer, but he was nevertheless mentioned.

Damn...I never am on here at the right time. Evan...did you pull that from Stark's end of year piece on ESPN earlier this week? I knew I had heard this before I saw your trivia question.

Sucks that becket can only pitch one game of alds. On the bright side think about if the shit hit the fan and we lost first 2 and had to count on dice to pitch elimination game. Not pretty. I was front row 1st base side in cleveland for game 5 last year and Beckets the guy we want in that scenario or best cas to put us one up or potential sweep. i like the way this sets up. Main key is 75% lowell and nancy drew.

8 runs scored on one hit? They must have been running very very fast then...so Papi and Manny are right out. I'll go with Hatcher, randomly.

I'm imagining a recent phone call from Wonderful Made-Up Baseball World: 'Hi, New York? Yeah, this is Tampa Bay calling. It seems that we forgot something in all this craziness of winning and stuff and we were hoping you could help us out. Do you have any bunting lying around that you don't need? It seems that Boston is already using theirs, and Baltimore forgot where theirs was stored and Toronto's has Maple Leafs all over it. So, if you could let us borrow yours that would be really swell, thanks!!'
