The Boston Herald and Boston Globe have both reported rumors in the past day or two regarding some intriguing starting pitchers. Jake Peavy of San Diego is available, although he will probably cost a Johan Santana-tyle ransom to pry from the West Coast. Derek Lowe, of LA and 2004 fame here in the Hub, has stated the Red Sox are his first choice.

You did it.
It was only fitting that the Red Sox would come back from an improbable loss to force Game Six, but it had to be done to further the Cinderella season.

TB 3, BOS 1: Tampa advances to World Series

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Rays. Any baseball fan has to enjoy this story of this young group making it to the biggest stage. Even though Boston did not pull it off again this season like 2004 and 2007 this season was enjoyable.
