If he can stay in the zone, he’ll go long. Otherwise, it’ll be a short outing.

Masterson tosses a gem, Ellsbury steals home (that was ridiculous!), and the bullpen holds together. Can’t get much better for the Sox!

Not worried about this team at all, no way, no how. Lots of power still revving up, aggressive base running, incredible bullpen . . . 10 straight wins despite Beckett, Lester, Matsuzaka, Penny, Buchholz, Smoltz still getting it together, and lineups already including 7 lucky AAA names like Green, Velasquez, Bailey, Carter, Van Every . . . and Jones & Bowden.
