Ok, our two supposed “aces,” it would be a great time to pitch well.
Starting tonight, the Red Sox face-off with the Yankees, as you may have heard. And the Bronx Bombers happen to have drawn our top two starters.
Lester tonight. Beckett tomorrow.
It isn’t that these next two games are “must win.” And it isn’t that these two pitchers have to pitch well in order to RE-establish their “Ace-ness.”
It would just go over very well if they get back on track right now. Seems like an opportune time to me.
The rotation will be fine over the long haul. But what better time to ease our minds a little?
