Fenway!: The Ultimate Fan’s Guide, 2009 Edition
is the only book that tells fans everything they need to know about
going to a game at Fenway: from how to get tickets, to how to get
there, and where the eat and drink before the game. In addition, it is
the only place fans can find out where NOT to sit. The book is available from Amazon.

Lefebvre was born in Natick, RI, and hit a HR for the Sox in his first MLB AB in 1938.
Is the answer you are looking for Hobe Ferris, who homered for the Sox in 1901, grew up in RI, and was thought to have been born in RI, but was later discovered to have been born in England?

Oh sorry, no. It was Lefebvre, sorry about that! You stumbled me with his first name, as he was called Lefty, not Bill.
