I think Bay deserves a day off. He has played in every game this season.

Man, that caught stealing of Ellsbury has being costly already…

paps gives up another 9th inning homer. ouch! no lead is safe when this guy comes in with the way he throws the FB right down the middle.

He's giving HRs to Catchers!! I guess it's a kind of a pitcher-catcher solidarity (sarcasm)

Mauer is simply amazin'(he's overcoming the only weakness he use to have which is the lack of power)! With Lowell, Beckett and Lugo off the books next year, I say the FO will have no excuses to go and get him!

seriously? This guy has a couple of bad stretches every year, so does every great closer, up until the Santos HR he had an era under 2. So really, he's not that bad, and most leads are safe. Walk off the ledge, the Sox are in 1st place for Christ's sake

Move over Pujols, Joe Mauer is the best player in baseball… :)

    Joe Mauer is a prodigy.
And Ramon Ramirez is our best reliever.
