Smoltz tuned
Next stop Washington D.C.
John Smoltz made what should be his final rehab start Wednesday night for the Pawtucket Red Sox, against the Charlotte Knights. Now, he must find a way to remain sharp over the next eight days before he makes his first start for the Boston Red Sox at the Washington Nationals on June 25.
“It’s going to be a long eight days,” said Smoltz. “I’m prepared for that. It’s been a long year.
