    Can we stop making this Stammen guy look like Cy Young? 33 pitches in 3 innings…YUCK.

    Although…you gotta hand it to him so far. 28 of those 33 pitches have been strikes, most of them on the edges of the plate.

    Nick is the first player I have actually seen get hit with a maple bat shard. Did he get hit with the ball too? When that bat head impaled the ground right in front of him as he chased the ball, we got a visual on what kind of tragedy is waiting to happen. Those bats gotta go, or they need thicker handles.
