No doubt in my mind he will be in the bigs within 3 years...go get em' Willard! I don't think he'll ever be a good defensive catcher, but if he can just get up to average, he could have a good career ahead of him. He's certainly got the power though. He was probably my favorite pick of the 2007 draft. So, it's good too see he has rebounded from his sub-par beggining. Like Joesox says, he needs to cut those strikeouts, but, in any case, I'm very excited about him. Now, I would love to see an article or an interview with Lavarnway. The other kid who is looking great in Greenville. I'm impressed with this kid. His offense is amazing (especially for a catcher), and I want to know how is he developing defensively. He seems to really struggle at the beginning of the year before slowly adjusting and then takes off before the season ends.
