Man we really could’ve used a 1st inning run or two.
Win or lose, at least it looks like Buchholz has banished Suckholz.
And just as I type that, Raburn hits one out. Cripes.
Way to jinx it eh? :P
Well…at least I can’t blame this on that stupid “Sweep the leg” video/line.
Verlander is just that good.
I was really looking forward to watching this game. My lone day off after a 7 day work week. I’m sick, start time is around when my daughter naps. Instead, comcast f’d up my mlb package that I’ve had all year, and the one day I want to watch it more than anything, it’s gone. Thanks comcast.
Looks like a beautiful game via yahoo though. God I wanted to see Clay throw against Verlander.
Should’ve gotten the MLB network. They showed the game.
Thanks for the advice. I did get the mlb network, they just forgot they got my payment 4 months ago and that I’d watched as many games as able up until today.
Well, the good news is that Buchholz did, in fact, build upon his last start. The bad news is that the b-lineup didn’t help him out any.
Awful day. Was supposed to watch batting practice from the field, but BP was canceled due to the mist. Ended up going on a tour of the places we were for Futures@ on Saturday. Then the team decided to play like it was last week.
Just terrible. Sigh.
At least Suckholz didn’t show up today, maybe he can build on this.
Better pray the road sox don’t show up this weekend, only .5 up on Texas now, need to win at least 2 of 3 and can’t have the offense be so sucktastic. The good news is that Texas doesn’t have anyone Verlander caliber and I assume we won’t see Woodward playing any second base.
