His next start may be one of his most important all season. He's had a couple solid ones in a row. If he can keep that going it could build his confidence immensely and maybe even get him rolling. He has the ability to step up right now as the #3. He just has to put it together. I have very little hope in DiceK or Wake to step up and be a solid 3 all of a sudden. And without a 3 we are sunk this year. Our O sucks, and despite Beckett and Lester, we aren't going to get very far without more pitching. We may find ourselves in a situation this year where we NEED Buchholz to step up. Shitty situation to be in? Yes. But it's where we're at. It's a long shot but don't think he can't do it.
