    this game has had more lineouts than any I’ve ever seen, I feel like the Sox should be up by more than they are right now

    this lineup is so much better when Martinez is catching, having a guy with an .830 ops in the 8 hole like Drew today makes them really tough. Varitek should only see the field once a week from now on.

    Yeah Martinez makes this lineup a lot more dangerous.
    I wish Jaybles would stop striking out. He’s going to have to figure out his swing soon.

    This was an absolutely satisfying sweep in what’s historically been a very tough place for the Sox to play. Couldn’t be happier about how it went — especially Buchholz holding his own against Halladay. Good thing, too, considering that we’re sending the back end of our rotation out there in the first two games of the Yankee series.
