How lucky are we that Texas has actually played worse than we have over the last week?
If the Rangers hadn’t given up on the season, they could have an outside shot right now. We’re not helping ourselves at all with that magic number. Essentially, we’re letting other teams do our dirty work.

This team is like Jekyll and Hyde. When everything is going right they are one of the best in baseball. Otherwise, they really know how to suck.

yes like a week and a half ago it seemed possible they could win each and every one of these end of season games… now they look to be sleepwalking or something. all i know is it looks nightmarish and not a good prelude to any post-season – playing in it or not.

Jesus christ, what is going on? They need to go into the playoffs on a high note, not stumbling. Although, granted, they still have a couple more games where they can administer a beat down.

They are playing like they will be on the golf course in a week, which who knows maybe they will, nothing is clinched yet.

Is there anyone out there comfortable about our playoff situation right now? This just gets uglier and uglier.

Well, we’re in the playoffs. If anyone on this team celebrates, people should be PISSED.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. This has got to be the most disappointing playoff-bound team ever.
