J.D.'s a better player, and has a higher OPS on that chart, but has played 3 years, vs. the 6 from Trot to dominate the decade. It is amazing that a combination of Youk & Pedrois's intense dirt dog fire don't = Trot's. You're right. Just when I'm about to forget him completely, someone reminds me. Another favorite Nixon moment of mine was when he got thrown out of a game while on the DL. I think Kapler hit a home run that the umps called a double. Trot had apparently been watching on TV in the clubhouse, because a minute later he stormed out of the clubhouse to the top of the dugout and began to give the umpires some information.
