We're lacking in the offense department, I think we NEED him. That being said, we can't give up our #3 pitcher in order to acquire him (Clay Buchholz). Do it with other prospects. If they want Bard, give em Bard (hopefully not much else though) however, we cannot sacrifice a key part of our rotation and our future for Gonzalez unless we sign Lackey, and even then I'd be very reluctant to give up Buchholz in a deal.
