At least our chances of throwing a good show out there are slightly better than the Red Sox playoff odds, which sit squarely at 10%. But if the Red Sox are still such long shots, why are we still holding out hope that there’s a run left in them? Because the schedule gives us just enough of a tease with our chief rival in the Wild Card and the dregs of the American League staring us in the face. Now is the time to make the move.

No matter what this team accomplishes from here on out, this season has to be looked at as a success given the context in which it was played.

And oh yeah…..Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez talk alive in Boston? What is this 2004?

All that and more on this episode of Fireside Chats.

Thanks for listening!
