The battle plan was drawn up and has been executed to a “T”. Thanks to the recent acquisitions of Bobby Jenks and Dan Wheeler, the Red Sox bullpen has turned from an achilles heel in 2010 to a strength in 2011. Sure there is a noticeable lack of a lock down lefty. But no team will enter the season perfect on paper. That said, 2011 roster doesn’t look to require much more tinkering from here to Florida.
Oh…and for all of you discounting the New York Yankees next season due to their no show this offseason — don’t sleep on the Yanks yet. They are still a damn good baseball team.
