While the other Boston sports teams are deep in their playoff hunts, the Red Sox march to a Red October may begin where they started the season — with an even slate of W’s and L’s. For the third time in as many weeks, the Red Sox are on the hunt for the elusive .500 record.
The Red Sox slow climb from their desolate beginnings has featured a flame throwing Josh Becket, and exploding Bobby Jenks, a heating up Carl Crawford, a streaking Jacoby Ellsbury and a few A-Gon bombs.
Can the Red Sox finally put their losing ways behind them? Paul and I are optimistic.
