As we bask in the glow of the Red Sox come-from-behind walk-off win, I thought I’d do a little house cleaning to update everyone on a few things.

  1. Due to a technical difficulty, the comments section under Lackey Hits the DL and In the Wake of 21-20 have been disabled.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  It’s an epic fail on my part.  I’ve tested the system, and comments will be ready to go for future posts.
  2. Staying on the topic of commenting, we’ve found that some of the comments haven’t been appearing under the comments section of our articles. Since we value your participation and feedback (and strongly encourage it), we want to remedy that problem as quickly as possible.  As you may have noticed, we have fully switched over to Intense Debate commenting.  As a result, you will be required to include your name and email in order to comment.  By including this information, our system will be able to recognize repeat commenters more quickly, and allow you to bypass the moderation process.  Another way to bypass the approval process is to sign up for an Intense Debate account.  Several blogs are using this system, and your account can be used to comment on all supporting blogs.
  3. Just a reminder to everyone. Fire Brand is live again on Facebook.  Show your support for Fire Brand and the Red Sox by “liking” us today!

That’s all for now.  Enjoy your day.  The Sox face a tough task tonight.  Zach Britton is on the mound for the Orioles tonight.
