John Sickels has reviewed his 2011 preseason scouting of the Red Sox minor league system and as many of us knew it was not very good.  With sturggles by our top pitching prospects like Anthony Ranaudo and Drake Britton it has been a tough year.

As John noted their have been some breakthroughs like Ryan Lavarnway and Josh Reddick, but the dissapointments have largely been pitchers, which will hurt if they can’t develop in the next few years.
