The Nashville-based music collective The Thrill Building, lead by musician-writer-producer Fran Kowalski, presents “The Greatest Game In The World.” This album is unparalleled, a 22-song tribute to baseball that includes songs about everything from the front office (renowned GM Roland Hemond), to the stadium vendor (‘Hot Dog Man’), to the PA announcer (Bob Sheppard), and, of course, to the players and the dynamics of the game itself. As Kowalski says, “Baseball rocks! It’s simultaneously explosive, instinctive, heart-wrenching, and comical. In writing and recording the songs for the CD, we wanted to touch on everything we could that impassioned us about baseball…the sheer greatness, grit and suspense of the game.” The top five finishers will each receive a CD.
