As Chip pointed out today in his latest Cafardo Mailbag, it seems like every trade suggestion coming from Red Sox Nation involves sending away Kevin Youkilis.

Jacoby Ellsbury has been another name whispered in the trade winds, as his breakout season is going to cause the Sox to carry around a lighter wallet than they would have otherwise. Ellsbury’s value may be at it’s peak, which gives the team at least some reason to explore a trade, especially since he’ll be a free agent after the 2013 season.

This week, we ask you: Who Would You Trade?

Last week, we asked your opinion on…

How Much Does a Manager Matter?

  • A lot (46%, 92 Votes) – Well, I guess I can’t blame those who voted here, considering the epic fail of September 2011 and the fingers that were pointed at Terry Francona for not controlling the clubhouse.

  • Some (30%, 60 Votes) – As it turned out, the voting resulted in a straight line from “a lot” to “the players make all the difference. Clearly, the majority of voters place a significant weight on who the next Red Sox manager will be.

  • Medium (17%, 33 Votes)

  • Not too much (6%, 12 Votes)

  • The players make all the difference (1%, 3 Votes)
