Fire Brand wants to know what you want the Sox to do for the holidays! Not that we can actually make any of this happen, mind you, but it’s a fun poll question anyway.

How about Gio Gonzalez? The price would be high and one has to wonder if the Sox even have the high profile prospects to make the move. If not Gio, how about signing another starter? Hiroki Kuroda is said to be willing to relocate out east. Roy Oswalt has been tied to the Sox in Rumors, but the 34-year-old is apparently asking for a three-year deal. How about Ryan Madson, the best closer left on the market, to sure up the bullpen?

Apparently the Sox did at least talk to the Marlins about Hanley Ramirez, though a trade seems highly unlikely. Would you want the former Sox prospect to man short over Scutaro for 2012?

None of thee above? ALL of the above? Something else? Head on over to the right sidebar to cast your vote and leave any other suggestions/opinions in the comments.

Happy holidays!
