For the first time in a long time, the Sox have gone into spring training without Jason Varitek or Tim Wakefiled in the clubhouse. Both players were known for their character as leaders both on and off the field, but their production on the field also held it’s own. This week’s poll question asks if there is a current Red Sox that will remain with the team until the day that they retire from baseball. It seems highly unlikely, but it is certainly a possibility.
