The Red Sox have two criteria that must be met to have a player’s number retired. What are they?
HONOR CODE: No search engines.
Previous question answer: Before they were the Boston Red Sox, the franchise was named the Boston Americans.
And now a word from our sponsor:
Running Press, a book publisher, has offered Fire Brand a free copy of “Fenway Park: A Salute to the Coolest, Cruelest, Longest-Running Major League Baseball Stadium in America.” The book is “the definitive narrative history of both park and team, and a centennial collectors’ item unlike any other. Its pages offer a level of detail that is unmatched, with exceptional writing and hundreds of rarely seen photographs and illustrations.”

2. played at least 10 seasons for the red sox
Doesn't the player have to be in the baseball HOF?
Finally one I know. 1) ten years with the club, and 2) in the baseball HOF. Used to be "finished career" too, hence the Fisk re-hiring, but that one's gone by the wayside with this ownership group.
Got it.
