Losing to the Chicago White Sox, owners of one of the worst offenses in baseball right now, just totally can’t make one frustrated, right? Right?!?
- After a run-filled five-game winning streak, it seems like the Red Sox forgot to bring their boomsticks with them to the Windy City. Stop making Hawk Harrelson happy, guys. (Red Sox bats stay dormant)
- He was much better than his previous pair of outings, but it’s a real shame the offense couldn’t back a well-pitched game by Felix Doubront. (Doubront takes a loss but continues progress)

- There is some good news on the home front, though – Andrew Bailey‘s returned, so we won’t have to rely on our 4th reliever, albeit a good pitcher, to close anymore. (With Bailey back, Red Sox’ bullpen solidifies)

- Here’s a thought: why don’t we take Jose Iglesias‘ glove, and move it somewhere else? At the risk of sounding like a meme, that sounds like a great idea. (Iglesias will get work at second, third base)
- It won’t be a real break for the Red Sox if they still can’t hit come game time. Just lessens the difficulty, that’s all. (Chris Sale won’t start Wednesday against the Red Sox because of left shoulder tendinitis)
