Man, the waiting is the worst, isn’t it? You just want it to start so you don’t have your heart stuck in your throat anymore. It makes me anxious.

It does feel like a reaaaaally long break here while we watch our lesser rivals beat on eachother over the scraps. Ellsbury said it feels like the all-star break. I hope the guys are using it wisely.
One thing that bugs me is that this wild-card game tonight between Cleveland and Tampa is being called the first game of the playoffs. Um, no, it’s really not.  It’s ONE GAME. You didn’t make it to the playoffs – you made it to the gladiator arena.  This 2nd wild card thing is a joke to deceive mediocre teams into thinking they have a chance and exciting their fan base to buy tickets and merch because they think they’re in the “playoffs”. No, sorry Tampa and Cleveland fans, you’re just suckers. This is just to drum up some revenue for those middling teams and get more ratings for the end of the season.

New Lyndsay It’s still officially part of the playoffs though – even though I agree with you, it does feel more like a play-in game.
