Game Notes: The Sox just keep rolling, with good pitching and good hitting in seemingly every game. Is this just the National League making its imact felt, or have we had a turnaround since that painfully ugly Twins series? Today’s another solid test, as the Sox send Curt Schilling to the mound to face Phillies ace Brett Myers. Myers was arrested early yesterday here in Boston, for allegedly hitting his wife on Boylston street. The Sox could take advantage, then, of a guy who’s clearly got some other things on his mind.
Of course, it’s never going to stop raining, so this barely matters.
