Game Notes: The Sox could have put that game away last night in both the fifth and sixth innings but succumbed to the LOB and GIDP diseases. That was the one game this series I really wanted to win. Jon Lester still pitched well for the most part and seems to be heading in the right direction. Jered Weaver is overdue for a bashing and I have a feeling the bats could warm up this afternoon. Beckett needs to step up because the Yankees are looming just 1/2 game back. No Wild Card in 06!
