GAME NOTES: With last night’s 5-0 loss to the Jays, the Sox find themselves looking up at two teams in the AL East for the first time (this late in the season) since 1997. Five games remain in this disappointing 2006 campaign, and with the Sox hosting the two weakest teams in the division – and Toronto up against two playoff teams (DET and NYY) to close out their year, the Sox stand a decent shot of reclaiming their traditional spot. It’s all we have to play for, so let’s get it done.
