GAME NOTES: Curt Schilling ended his season on a high note last night, which is wonderful, but I think it’s even more imperative for Beckett to do the same tonight. Beckett’s been excellent in his last few starts, and to carry that through the end of the season would give me hope for the 2007 version of our could-be ace. Meanwhile, David Ortiz continues to amaze, with his 54th HR of the season and 3 huge RBI.
