Bobby Abreu got all the revenge he needed.

After Josh Beckett threw at his head in the first inning for calling time late in the at-bat, Abreu hit a go-ahead two-run single in the third inning giving the Angels a 3-2 advantage. Vladimir Guerrero padded the lead in the eighth launching a homer off of Hideki Okajima.

Boston staged a comeback in the final frame as David Ortiz notched an RBI single making it a one-run contest, 5-4, but J.D. Drew struck out looking with two men on to end the game.

Brian Fuentes recorded his second save of the season in the win.

Goat of the Game – Offense
